How to set up my Orvie tag?

Step 1: Scan the QR Code

Each Orvie Tag has a unique QR code printed on the back. To begin setup:

Open your smartphone camera
Point it at the QR code
Tap the link that appears on your screen

Troubleshooting QR Code Scanning Issues

If your phone does not recognize the QR code, try the following:

Ensure QR scanning is enabled on your phone

• Go to your camera settings and make sure "Scan QR Codes" is turned on.

Try using Google Lens (Android)

• Open the Google app, tap the Lens icon, and point your camera at the QR code.

Use a QR Scanner App

• If your camera isn’t recognizing the code, try a free QR scanner app from your phone’s app store.

Manually Enter the URL

• If all else fails, enter the web address printed on the tag into your browser’s address bar.

Step 2: Create or Log Into Your Orvie Account

After scanning the QR code, you’ll be directed to the Orvie activation page.

• New users: Tap "Register" and enter your email to create an account.

• Returning users: Tap "Log In" and enter your credentials.

Step 3: Create Your Pet’s Profile

Now, it’s time to add details about your pet!

Fill in the following information:
Pet’s Name
Breed & Age
Medical Info (Optional) – Allergies, medications, etc.
Upload a Clear Photo of your pet

Step 4: Add Your Contact Information

To ensure finders can contact you, enter:
Your Phone Number
Your Email Address

When someone scans your pet’s tag, they will see the contact details you've chosen to share, allowing them to reach you instantly.

Step 5: Activate Your Orvie Tag

Once your pet’s profile is complete, tap "Activate" to finalize the setup.

Now, when someone finds your lost pet and scans the tag, they’ll see your pet’s profile and be able to contact you. Plus, you’ll receive an instant location alert when the tag is scanned.

Step 6: Attach the Tag to Your Pet’s Collar

Securely fasten the Orvie Tag to your pet’s collar using the provided keyring.

That’s it! Your Orvie Tag is now live, and your pet is protected.
